Mark Giannetti

President, head composer

Mark began his career as a pianist, performing in a variety of styles with a special inclination for the blues. He subsequently composed, arranged, sung and performed in countless jingles, numerous folk, rhythm & blues and orchestral recordings as well as various children’s productions while co-owning one of the Eastern Townships’ main recording studios.

Fueled by his passion for music and theater, he later moved to Montreal where he became a prized music composer and director for various multimedia production companies such as the National Film Board of Canada, Point de Mire, Air Tango, Radio-Québec, Les Productions de L’Encrier, while simultaneously travelling worldwide with Cirque du Soleil.

After working on various youth musical projects together, Mark co-founded Campagn'Arts Media with Josée Destrempes in 1990. Since then, the team has produced a number of award-winning national and international soundtracks for clients such as The Cookie Jar Company, Cirrus, and Sphère-Media Plus.

Mark’s experience and versatility are perhaps best expressed through his work on various TV hits: from hip-hop (2 Frères) and fusion-blues (Tabou) to classical-country (Providence) and animated orchestral-jazz (Mona the Vampire) to name just a few.

Mark takes great passion and satisfaction in working with others, a point evidenced by his numerous collaborations along the years with directors, musicians, and artists from various parts of the world.

After having encouraged teamwork throughout his career, Mark is now surrounded by an experienced and multitalented team with which he can best express and share his love for the art of storytelling.
