Guitarist, Arranger
Beyond his rock-star looks and enviably vast global touring experience, guitarist Richard Lemoine has played a defining role in Quebec’s popular music scene.
Born into a musical family, Richard started out learning the piano, but an early fascination with contemporary British rock music led him to the guitar. Largely self-taught, Richard started exploring a variety of styles, from folk music to psychedelic moods, developing his repertoire and experience in numerous garage bands and groups.
Over the years Richard collaborated with artists such as Claude Dubois, Richard Seguin, Gerry Boulet, Fabienne Thibault, Martine Saint-Clair, Laurence Jalbert, Nanette Workman, Marie Carmen and Joe Bocan, lending his talents as a musical director, arranger and performer.
Richard also participated in some of Québec’s largest musical events, including the 350th-Anniversary Celebration of Montréal, numerous Saint-Jean-Baptiste Celebrations in Montréal and Québec City, and the Saint-Malo Festival.
With over 35 albums under his belt, Richard has left an important print of his various musical talents and ideas for future generations. In addition to his various concerts and recordings, Richard has also performed onscreen in films such as “Le Party” (dir: Pierre Falardeau) and in numerous live television shows such as “Beau et Chaud” and “L’Autobus du Show Business.”
Richard’s passion for atmospheric tones and collective work, as well as his vast experience and knowledge of different musical styles, has naturally brought him in the field of music to picture, occupying a vital role in shaping the sound of Campagn'Arts Media’s productions.
